I really would love to join you, but I will be in sunny California,(shame!!) our local branch does a walk every year, and a team will be walking in my absence (so's I don't feel as guilty), but I would have loved to do done the London walk, have a great time to whoever walks, hope it raises funds AND awareness.

There's a nice coffee place down the road, though I am also reliably informed there is a pub in the vicinity...

Hi all,

I have just asked John and he's up for it so providing I can get the day off work John, myself and our kids will be there to take part too.

Will be lovely if Very Happy we can, I'd love to put faces to all the names we come across.

Well, considering King's is in Camberwell and Camberwell is a bit of a scuzz-hole I'm not sure you'd enjoy it too much! I am informed that there is a nice hotel by the town hall in Waterloo right by the eye that is very reasonable, and from there it would just be a 176 bus straight to Camberwell. These newfangled busses have extending ramps for wheelchairs too if needed. Any other Londoners have ideas?

I can't go Sad Crying or Very sad . My friend is getting married that day (yes, I know, very unusual on a Sunday). I thought she was getting married on the Saturday until I had a closer look at the invitation.

Now, who shall I sponsor?!
