If there is anything in particular you need to know about feel free to ask, but basically the Association in partnership with AbilityNet are providing anybody with MND a suitable computer.
The 'assessment' is done by AbilityNet who then provide all the required hardware, pointing devices and software.

The process can be set in motion by an Occupational Therapist or Speech & Language Therapist or a Regional Care Development Adviser.

They can be contacted directly or by calling MND Connect 08457 626262 (open five days a week, 9am-5pm and 7pm-10.30pm)

No there was nothing particular,its just that my laptop is very old and one its last legs,i'll need a new one soon.

Hi Roger,

just to update you, abilitynet came out to my home on friday for the assessment,and say they will put a package of a laptop and programs together after they get MNDA approval.
